"Yachad B'tefilla" ("Together in Prayer") Siddur for Kindergarten - Grade 2
| The siddur, or prayerbook, is a cumulative work created over generations by the People of Israel, who have bequeathed to us a tradition of prayer, blessings, melodies and songs. Developed over the centuries, the prayerbook continues to evolve. The TALI Education Fund is pleased to contribute to this liturgy, inviting our youngest worshippers to study and experience prayer. The 'Yachad B'tfilla' Siddur includes illustrations that relate to the world of prayer as well as to the world of children, allowing us to learn about ourselves, about our people's customs, and about the diversity of traditions in prayer in Jewish communities and in different TALI schools.

The World of Prayer, Siddur
for Grades 3-6.
Our Sages taught us that there are two levels of prayer: regular prayers, which appear in the siddur and are said at set times by Jews all over the world, and pleas, which are prayers from the heart that each individual composes him/herself, when s/he feels the need. This siddur contains traditional and new prayers. Some were composed hundreds of years ago, and some in recent times. The siddur also includes songs, readings and questions to inspire individual prayer. The siddur is intended to help one who prays to incorporate both kinds of prayers. |

The World of Prayer
Teacher's Guide.
Prayer has the power to connect us to our spiritual selves. The aim of the program is to open the magical world of prayer to pupils and teachers. It deals with both experiential and factual aspects. The program is built in two parts: the first, preparing for prayer, and the second, learning specific prayers. Each unit presents a group of prayers that are all value-based. The values introduced include charity and kindness, recognition of the good, peace, and more. A glossary of prayer terms is included. |
